| Comments |
Other ideas from the book are long term immersion systems for sustaining a human body while its user is immersed in virtual reality. Also nano technology is used to modify and enhance a human body (one that is enhanced with technological enhancements that have been surgically added earlier).
In the book a software agent which has been enhanced from a children's toy plays a vital role in the plot, which gives the impression that the software agent has been upgraded so far that it can be thought of as a person with more than average intelligence. |
